KCS Golf Marathon Registration

The King Christian School Golf Marathon is an annual event during which community members raise funds for our school. The event takes place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 and will be hosted at the Innisbrook Golf Course in Barrie, Ontario.

Participants spend the day on the course, completing as many holes as possible from dawn to dusk. Each golfer obtains sponsors as a flat rate or on a per hole basis and each hole golfed means more funds raised for King Christian School.

The golf marathon is a day unlike any other. Will you consider joining us for a fun-filled day?

Our goal is to raise $65,000!

A minimum of $500 is required to be fundraised to cover the basic costs for the day. If you are unable to raise $500 you are required to provide the remaining balance.
Please utilize the following sponsor form. Please keep track of all your donations (including name and address) and aim to collect the funds at the time of request. Donations may be made by cheque, etransfer to finance@kingchristian.ca or using the online credit card payment via Zeffy.

PLAYER COMMITMENT

I understand that my role as a fundraising golfer is a significant responsibility and will make it a priority. I look forward to participating in the Annual King Christian School Golf Marathon and hereby commit to the following terms:

I will raise a minimum of $1,000 in donations in exchange for my registration fee.
If I cannot raise $500 in donations I understand I am responsible to donate the remaining difference in support of King Christian School.
I will accurately promote the event hosts, sponsors and players.
I will inform all donors that donations over $20 are tax deductible.
I will assist event staff in the collection process if so required.
I will register and submit registration fee.

RULES

Although score is not of primary importance today, we will award prizes related to score. Scorecards will be turned in after you have completed the 9th and 18th hole.
Play extremely READY golf, but traditional course etiquette still applies.
While you may start in a group, you may leave the group if you are playing faster. Please do not play in groups of more than 2 carts.
Let’s leave the course the way we found it; repair ball marks, divots and rake the sand traps. Please stay on the cart paths and fairways.
You are playing from the white T’s, or longer if that is your wish. We have requested that the white blocks be positioned as yardage indicates on the scorecard. Depending on ground damage, they may move them later in the day.
Don’t search for lost balls! If you don’t drive right up to it, simply drop a ball near where you expected it to be and play on.
If you hit a ball Out of Bounds, simply drop a ball within a club length of where the ball went Out of Bounds and play on.
If you hit a ball in the water hazard, simply drop a ball within a club length of where the ball went in the hazard and play on.
Always remember to count your penalty strokes so we can all have a fun and honest day
Any putt within 16” from the hole is considered "good". Pick it up and give yourself one stroke.
Play ends at 4:30 pm.
